This is a patent herbal remedy based on the ancient recipe Du Huo Ji Sheng Tang (Angelica Pubescens and Sangjisheng Decoction) in TCM originally appeared in Thousand Ducat Formulas (Qian Jin Yao Fang), which is primarily used for chronic bi-syndrome with deficiency of both the liver and kidney and insufficient qi and blood, marked by pain of the waist and knees, limited movement or numbness of joints, aversion to clod with preference for warmth, palpitation and short breath. It is regarded as the typical formula for treating arthralgia caused by wind, cold, and dampness.

Actions: Dispelling wind and dampness, removing obstruction from the collaterals, promoting blood circulation, nourishing the qi and blood, invigorating the kidney and liver, and strengthening the muscles and bones.

Indications: It is indicated for bi-syndrome with deficient healthy qi and retained pathogenic factors, syndrome of obstruction of collaterals by wind and dampness, manifested as the stiffness of waist and legs, spasmodic pain of muscles and bones, weakness of knees and lower extremities, pain in the back, loins and knees, aversion to cold and preference for warmth. It is applicable to chronic sciatica, arthritis, and rheumatism, lumbago (strain of lumbar muscles, lumbar sprain and contusion, spinal canal stenosis of lumbar vertebrae, prolapse of lumbar intervertebral disc).*

Directions: Take 9 pills each time, 2 times a day.
Caution: Do not use during pregnancy. Do not use in cases of heat-dampness.
